Cat Dancer!

The Cat Dancer Company makes excellent toys for your kittens and cats!  All ages of felines can enjoy this amazing toy!  It’s only made out of bendable wire and had little tubular cardboard on the ends or maybe a toy mouse on the end.  It depends on which style you choose for your cat.  Whatever it’s style though, your cat is guaranteed to enjoy it!

We’ve had kittens and cats for years and they’ve truly had a great time playing with this simple, inexpensive toy.  They chase it, chew it, throw it in the air, follow it and pounce on it.  It uses their natural instincts so every single cat will enjoy it, guaranteed!

At FurryPetStore.com, you can choose what style that you think your cat would enjoy or else, buy all three of them since they are so cheap!  You know your kitten or cat enjoys the simple toys.  They always like the simple paper shopping bags and little pieces of things dropped on the floor.  They find that little piece of fuzzy that’s almost impossible for you to see and start pouncing on it or staring at it and hunting it down!  It’s so amazing what they can find to play with!

So, pick out a version of cat dancer that you think your cat would enjoy playing with!  You won’t be disappointed at all!  In fact, I’d appreciate any feedback you can send directly to us or you can write a comment down below this blog.  Check out our cattoy and treats page today!

Vitamins and Minerals for your Dog!

Yes, there are supplements for your dog.  Give your dog the right vitamins and minerals he needs to be healthy and happy!   Sometimes you may skip a meal or eat something on the go just to keep you from being hungry.  The same happens with dogs.  They’re owners are on vacation, the dog won’t eat all his meals due to depression or anxiety and therefore they are missing their nutrition.

Check with your Veterinarian for all your pet needs as always.   It’s just a good idea to make sure they get all their vitamins and minerals so that they don’t eat things they’re not supposed to.  Sometimes when dogs are missing vitamins and/or minerals in their diet, they can eat dirt, grass and other items that are not healthy and can make them very sick.

Check out the supplements for your dogs at FurryPetStore.com and go to the Dog Treats and Toys page.  You might be surprised as to what you find!  Your dog will thank you!

Keep Your Cat From Being Bored

It’s very important to keep your cat from being bored when you’re not home and even when you are home and busy.  He/she needs to keep busy and get enough exercise during the day.  They do sleep about 16 hours in a 24 hour day, but keeping them busy is a good idea.

It keeps them not only active, but it helps to keep them from scratching the furniture.  You can buy cat scratching furniture for them to climb up and jump on.  You can buy scratching posts and toys that keep their hunting instincts up to par.

There are little mice with catnip inside them that they can bat around the house.  You can get a cat dancer toy that they will adore and you will laugh for hours on end at their antics while playing!  They can sneak up on the little toy and throw it up in the air or you can get a toy that’s interactive.  One that you can play with them is always fun!  They’re great for kids playing with cats and kittens so that the child doesn’t get accidentally scratched while playing.  Toys are an excellent idea to train a kitten to play with a toy and not with a human’s hand.

Have a great time choosing the right toys and/or furniture for your cat or kitten and click here for great ideas and choices:  cat toys and treats.

Why Should Your Dog Have a Dog Bed?

Think of some of the reasons why you want your own bed and that’s why your dog likes his own bed.  He/She will feel warm, secure and comfy.    It’s a place they can feel like it’s their own place and that they are allowed to be.  It can provide cushion for achy muscles and joints for older or sick dogs.  When dog owners ask what items they should provide for their pets, a dog bed is always at the top of that list.

There are all different sizes, shapes, colors and materials that they are made out of.   They stop the spread of pet dander by having them lay on it, then washing it and therefore getting rid of pet dander that can cause allergies for you and family and friends.

It can stop injuries to your pet by giving them a place to be instead of having them jumping on the furniture and maybe jumping down and possibly causing a bad fall.

You really have to take into consideration your dog’s age, size and what type of bed you are willing to look at everyday whether it is located inside or outside.  Remember when researching a dog bed for your dog that a cheaper bed does not give your dog the support he needs for a long period of time.  The cheaper beds break down faster inside and your dog can end up laying on the floor with no support.

Your dog deserves the very best in comfort and support because that’s what he/she gives to you!   Take a look at all our different dog beds and choose one that you and your dog will just love!

Pet Restraining Law Passed in NJ

According to NJ law, if you don’t have your dog or pet restrained in the interior of a car, you can face penalties.  This is already a law if you have a pet riding outside the vehicle, such as in a pick-up truck.  An officer can pull you over and you can face a disorderly person’s offense under animal cruelty laws.  You can also pay a fine of $250 up to $1000 per offense.

Even looking away from the road for 2 seconds, it can double your risk of having an accident.  Not only can children fly through the car if left unrestrained, so can your pet!  They can get hurt or worse and so can you, the adult.

Ray Martinez, head of the NJ Motor Vehicle Commission stated, “People actually driving with a cat or a dog on their lap are not cute.  It’s actually dangerous for the driver.  It’s dangerous for other drivers and it’s dangerous for that pet.

A good idea is to use a dog harness for your pet.  The harness can be placed on your dog and then seat belted into the back seat.  There are booster seats available for your pet and also crates and carriers.  They range in sizes and colors and materials.  If you use a crate for your dog, that crate must be strapped down and buckled into the seat.  This is a good idea for cats since cats usually do not like a harness type of restraint.

This is a very serious law and NJ will not tolerate violators.  Please visit our page on dog travel for all harness’ and restraints.  There is a page also for dog crates.  Let’s keep our pets safe, after all, they are a huge part of our families and they are loved so much!
